RLWC Fantasy Rules

Team Name: One team name and a separate cumulative RLWC ladder across all five rounds.

Rounds 1–3: HOK, MID, MID, EDG, HLF, CTR, WFB, WFB, WILDCARD, EMG (10 players).

Semi-finals and Final: HOK, MID, EDG, HLF, CTR, WFB, WILDCARD (7 players).

Captain: A positional player scores 1.5x. WILDCARD and EMG cannot captain. Fractional totals round up.

Scoring: All players except EMG count. In Rounds 1–3, EMG covers one on-field player who does not play, regardless of position.

Player Pool: Named World Cup squads only. Existing fantasy positions apply; players without them use their named playing position. Unclassified bench players can fill WILDCARD or EMG.

Access: Free for all registered users.

First lockout: Save a full squad and a valid captain before the first game starts. Your entire saved squad locks at that kickoff.

Late entry: If you have not locked a completed squad for this round, you can still enter until the last game kicks off. Choose only players from games that have not started. A player already saved before their own game locks stays in that slot and cannot be removed or moved after kickoff.

Next lockout: A completed squad saved during the round locks at the next match kickoff, even if none of your players are in that match. Once locked, the whole squad and captain cannot be changed. Unsaved changes do not count; incomplete squads do not qualify for scoring.

Terms: Inappropriate/profane team names can be invalidated. Team and squad changes are logged.
